Not sure where to start your career journey? You're not alone! |
Deciding what to do for a career can seem scary. If you decide on something, it may feel like you've made a decision too quickly or have made the wrong choice. If you don't decide on something, it can feel like you're lost or that you're behind. However, know that whatever you decide, you are going to be fine!
My philosophy on career searching is that everyone has their own path of discovery- there is no one way to reach your dreams. If you go to college and change your major five times (like me!), you'll be fine. If you go to college and find out it's not for you, you'll be fine. If you start a job and find something else you'd rather be doing, you'll be fine. But, if you want to be a little more prepared or explore your options, check out some of my resources below! |
Applying to College or a Job
Paying for College
"I want to go to college, but how can I ever afford it?"- this is the most frequently asked question for school counselors. And that makes sense! We want you to pay as little for college as possible (and I'm sure you do too), so check out my resources below to learn more about financial aid to help support you on your journey.
Scholarships
There are so many scholarship opportunities out there- hundreds of thousands of dollars go to waste every year because no one applies for them. Even though it is time-consuming, applying for as many scholarships as you can will definitely pay off!
